Notice the new handicap ramp that Max Shubert and Melvin Dozier built for us this summer.  They have also leveled up our building, repaired the cracks in the plaster and rewired the whole building which allows us to have electricity once again! Now (Sept. 2005) they are busy rebuilding and repainting our overhead lights. Also on Sept. 17th our roofing crew just completed tearing off our old roof and replacing it with a nice new one. This old country church is really coming alive once more!

Benton Church is about 6 miles south of Mound City, Missouri. Take Interstate 29 to exit 79 then Hwy 159 West for one block to Hwy BB South. Continue on BB South for 7/10 of a mile and the church is on your left on the hilltop, with the cemetery behind it.
On Saturday Sept. 10, 2005 Benton Church entered a float in the Autumn Festival at nearby Oregon, Missouri and We Took First Place in the religious divn.! If you would like to see a photo of our float you can find it on our photo album page. (above right)
